Service Description
The Innovative Gastroenterology (IG) L0-L3 Tutoring Program consists of four core modules designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in medical education and biomedical sciences, with particular emphasis on metabolism and macromolecular principles. The “IG. L0–L3” Program is designed to accommodate undergraduate and graduate students, medical students, and other individuals interested in expanding their knowledge of gastrointestinal physiology and related biomedical sciences. The program is also intended for learners seeking to apply scientific knowledge to informed lifestyle, nutrition, and fitness decisions. Throughout the program, participants will explore key concepts in gastrointestinal embryology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology. The curriculum will also incorporate an in-depth review of nutrition and metabolism, with an emphasis on the role of these principles in preventive medicine and public health. Relevant health considerations in the United States and internationally may be discussed to help participants better understand the broader applications of gastrointestinal and metabolic sciences. The “IG. L0–L3" Program is offered as a weekend tutoring service, making it particularly suitable for busy students, working professionals, and other learners seeking to strengthen their foundational knowledge of the basic sciences while maintaining a flexible schedule. Applicants to the IG. L0-L3 Tutoring Pack may be required to attend an intake-information meeting and complete an intake-information form before admission. Accepted participants may also be eligible to register for both a primary and a secondary Slack account, providing direct communication with their assigned tutor as well as convenient access to course materials. assignments, and learning resources. Please note that IG. L0–L3 weekend meetings are held on Saturdays and Sundays, with each session lasting one hour. During the Intake and Information Meeting, applicants may select their preferred tutoring time within the available scheduling window of 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).
